APU Rededicates University VillageOwned by APU and affectionately called the "strawberry patch" from 1975-87, this corner lot was once blooming with red berries. Under university ownership again, more than 20 years later, this strawberry field turned apartment complex now gives APU the opportunity to create intentional community among its student population, since more than 900 students will call this corner home for years to come. Student Spotlight: Darnell Abraham '09Darnell Abraham ‘09 wasn’t supposed to come to Azusa Pacific University. Committed to using his amazing gift of music for God’s glory first and foremost, Darnell was already settled at another school and pursuing his love of music. But when Darnell decided to visit APU and see what this God First institution was all about, everything changed.
APU Hosts Local Youth for Seventh Annual G.A.T.E. Summer School ProgramOn June 24, Azusa Pacific University welcomed local youth to campus for the seventh annual Gifted and Talented Education (G.A.T.E.) summer school program. Students from third grade through high school were invited to participate in a five-week educational experience taught by selected Azusa Unified School District (AUSD) and APU faculty.

Alumni Cruise 2009 Date: January 09, 2009 to January 12, 2009 All alumni, parents, and friends of APU are invited on the 5th annual Alumni Cruise Friday, January 9 - Monday, January 12, 2009. This cruise is a casual event with plenty of free time to relax and have great fellowship with friends and family. This year we’ve added a great feature with seminars by Dr. Jim Burns.
