| NewsAPU Hosts Annual Career FairOn April 9, APU's Office of Career Services hosted its annual Career Fair. Various companies and organizations from the Los Angeles area came to recruit APU students. Several companies, such as the Disney College Program, Pasadena Child Development Center, and Enterprise Rent-A-Car return to APU each year after finding successful candidates for employment. For the second year in a row APU was acknowledged for its community-based activitiesAs each woman left the tea, they were given a Gerber daisy and a poem. The poem was centered on the idea of fi nding one’s image in the Lord. The last line of the poem reads, “I want her to be conformed to My image. This high goal I have set for her. Because I love her.”
Azusa Pacific was recognized by Learn and Serve America and was awarded a place on the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll. The award is given to colleges and universities for outstanding work in both community service and service-learning programs. Click here for the full article.

Class of 1958 - 50 Year Reunion WeekendThe Class of 1958 celebrated commencement weekend with all the graduating students. Each year the 50 year class is honored at commencement and given a great weekend to reconnect with former classmates. This year the Class of 1958 had a reunion dinner in the Upper Turner Campus Center, walked at Commencement and finished off the weekend at a beach home in Newport Beach.
