Azusa Pacific will receive the NAIA-CTSA "All that's Right in Sport"
Azusa Pacific (Calif.) University will receive the "All that's Right in Sport" Award at the 11th Annual AT&T National Sportsmanship Awards Banquet on Saturday, November 21, 2009, at 6 p.m. at the Chase Park Plaza in St. Louis, Mo. The "All that's Right in Sport" Award recognizes an NAIA member institution, team or individual whose actions have clear connections to sportsmanship paired with a story that motivates and inspires. Recap: Veterans Day
Approximately 100 military veterans, APU alumni, staff, faculty and guests gathered in Wilden Hall on Wednesday at noon for our annual Veterans Day Celebration luncheon.  The hall was a beautiful setting as military memorabilia was displayed, care packages for deployed troops were filled, and guests mingled with each other. 

2010 Summer Israel Trip
All APU alumni, faculty, staff, family members and guests are invited to join us on this amazing trip! The program is open to those interested in the 3 week study tour, the 2 week dig, or the full 5 week combined program. Based at Jerusalem University College on Mt. Zion, the tour and dig are open to everyone: undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, staff, alumni, students from other universities, and other interested individuals.  Click here for the application.  Application due by January 15, 2010.

APU Honors Students Who Model Servant Leadership
The 2008-09 Servant Leadership Award recipients were honored at the seventh annual Servant Leadership Award Luncheon. The event, held at Il Forno, a local Italian restaurant, brought the award recipients, thefaculty and staff who nominated them, and their parents together for the presentation of the awards.  Click here for full article.
